Between leaving his apartment and the walk back, the Hell's itch was in full effect and I went full exorcist on the bed, crying and convulsing from the torturous itch. I ended up purchasing an antihistamine (Brazil's Benadryl alternative) and anti-itch cream which to this day I cannot remember because I couldn't not translate. I am of Portuguese and Polish decent and I burn easily in the early weeks of summer but my skin usually just tans after that. I am pale in the winter but can tan well in the summer. I guess I have what you could consider medium skin tone. I've had Hell's itch ~four times in my life, but I feel as if I could have had it much worse the second two times had I not learned from my experience and (key point) acted quickly at the first minor signs. I write this as my first post on Reddit EVER, because Hell's Itch is not something I would wish on my worst enemies and I feel compelled to share my story since I think I've found my best way to treat it.
